Project Description

Problem:

Bill called into The Basement Doctor for an inspection and estimate on his foundation. During the conversation Bill stated, there was a horizontal crack in front of the home two blocks down into the foundation. He also explained that the basement was a full unfinished basement. The presumable good news was that he hadn’t noticed any water seepage or moisture. Bill scheduled a free consultation with The Basement Doctor to find a solution to his home’s foundation needs.

Solution:

The Basement Doctor sent project manager Ryan Bolin out for an assessment of the foundation. Ryan was a great fit for this project, because of his reputation and willingness assisting homeowners throughout central Ohio. On site Ryan knew that his objective was to diagnose the problem and find a solution for the homeowners. After a thorough assessment, Ryan diagnosed bowing walls as the prominent issue with the foundation. Ryan suggested force beams to offer stabilizing support to the walls and foundation. After discussing the option, the Bill and Ann agreed to move forward with the process. The Basement Doctor crew was “on the job” to ensure a proper installation of the force beams. The customer was satisfied and given peace of mind; knowing the problem had been located, and the solution had been achieved.
