Crawl Space Access Door

A lot of crawl spaces come with an access door facing outward. Usually it is manufactured from plywood, and since it’s down by the ground it rots quickly. These rotted warped doors generally seal poorly and appear very unsightly. The solution is an all-plastic door - which won’t decay, warp, or need to have paint, and insects won’t try to eat it.

Knobs screw into anchors inside the wall structure to draw the door snug against weather-stripping to seal off air flow.

Crawl Space Access Door Before

Before: A deteriorating, bent plywood door makes it possible for a lot of air to get inside.

Crawl Space Access Door After

After: A tightly-fit, all-plastic door prevents moisture and air from getting in.
