Project Description
Problem:
Barbara filled out an Internet estimate request via www.mybasementdoctor.com for someone to look at her foundation. She stated that she was noticing some cracking and bowing in her walls. She was contacted by a company representative to gather more information. Barbara stated that along the seams of the blocks, the wall was starting to separate. She also noticed stair step cracks in the garage wall, and a slight inward bow in some spots on two of her walls. She scheduled a free consultation with The Basement Doctor to find a solution to her foundation issues.
Solution:
The Basement Doctor sent project manager Jarrod McDonald out for an assessment. Jarrod was a great fit for this project, because of his solid reputation and willingness to assist homeowners throughout central Ohio. Jarrod went out with one objective in mind: to find the problem and offer a solution. After a thorough assessment, Jarrod located the bowing and cracked walls the customer detailed in her initial conversation. Jarrod suggested eight force beams to address the bowing and cracked walls. The force beams will bring the walls back into the proper alignment with the foundation of the home. After discussing the options, Barbara and her husband Marc agreed to move forward with the installation process. The Basement Doctor crew was on the job to ensure a successful installation of the force beams. Barbara and Marc were given the peace of mind they needed. The Basement Doctor’s goal of trust and complete customer satisfaction was achieved!
