Project Description

Problem:

Debbie called The Basement Doctor because she was having some basement and foundation settling issues. Debbie stated that the corner of her garage had cracks and was sinking. In her basement, she said that just one wall had cracks on it. Debbie explained that even though there were cracks, no water was seeping through, and that this has been an ongoing problem for a while. She scheduled a free consultation with The Basement Doctor to find a solution.

Solution:

The Basement Doctor sent project manager Ryan Bolin out to assess the basement and foundation settling issues. Ryan is a seasoned project manager at The Basement Doctor and has assisted homeowners throughout central Ohio for many years. Ryan approached this consultation with the objective to diagnose the problem and find a permanent solution. After a thorough assessment, Ryan suggested 10 Reinforcers and 20 feet of concrete. The Reinforcers would address the issues of the basement wall that Debbie highlighted by properly aligning the wall within the foundation. The 20 feet of concrete was suggested to address the sinking and settling. After discussing the options, Debbie agreed to proceed with the installation process. Our Basement Doctor crew was on the job to ensure that the Reinforcers and concrete were installed properly to address both issues Debbie had in her home. Debbie was given the peace of mind that she needed. Trust was earned, and the goal of customer satisfaction was achieved.
