Home » The Basement Doctor named a finalist for the 2015 Business First Corporate Caring Awards

This Thursday, June 18, The Basement Doctor had the pleasure of attending the Business First Corporate Caring Awards luncheon at the Hilton Polaris. We were selected as a finalist for the award in the “Small Companies” category.

The Corporate Caring Awards recognizes companies of all sizes for their contributions to Columbus charities and nonprofit organizations, particularly for their financial gifts, volunteer service and other unique contributions. Of the 66 finalists, judges chose 13 honorees in categories including: arts, education, environmental, health, human services and Benefactor of the Year. The luncheon also featured a Q&A with Jeni Britton Bauer, founder of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, that was conducted by Doug Kridler of the Columbus Foundation.

We couldn’t be more proud to be among the finalists, a group of businesses that have a great passion for helping our community. During our 28 years in business, The Basement Doctor has made a great effort to get behind causes and organizations that make a big impact in the communities we service. We have no intention of slowing down our charitable efforts for 2015 and beyond, and have some amazing events coming up with the Cancer Support Community and the Ohio Animal Health Foundation.
